And a Happy New-Year…

2020 was for The Servants, as for many of us, not the greatest year. We started off full of excitement and joy! This fourth year since we’ve started would mean the real breakthrough for The Servants (and thus Nirvana): we rocked Brussels at the very end of February, we had plans for our very first Unplugged in NY sessions, a contract to play The Netherlands and quite of lot of promising shows and festivals booked.

Then Covid-19 came along and knocked everybody off their feet. The Servants included. Rehearsals and shows where cancelled and everybody had to stay indoors, keeping their distances, … Many got ill, some lost someone close… A harsh truth that reminds us to stay humble and be kind to each other each and every day. We remember and honour those who were lost.

To this very day the nearby future is uncertain. As vaccination programmes start, some of us are already dreaming of sweaty and packed crowds in front of a massive stage. We’ll get there! Patience… 2021 will still not be a ‘normal’ year. We’ll still have to hold distance, stay safe and have to miss a lot of people and stuff to do…

Nevertheless The Servants wish you all the very best for this new year. A good health for you and all your friends and family. A thrive to hold on, be strong and mindfull. A torch to find a path for a brighter future. And we hope to be a part of that for you in the nearby future.

Love to all

All in all is all we are
